Attenuation and the suck threshold is a very nice peace of literature that you can read at Creating Passionate Users’ blog
It is surelly a great post. After all it’s all about empowering users.
This is a must read for all that are concerned with Usability. Believe it or not, even if the software is a great peace of software and respects ALL the guidelines of UI design; if it has a big suck threshold it has BIG usability issues in its documentation for sure and won’t be good for nothing.
Small details are where Big projects fail.
